A common form of communication within Facebook is the communication between users via Status updates. If you write a Status update all your friends have the opportunity to read and to respond to the update. The overall issue of this survey is: how are Facebook users to commu- nicate with Status updates?  The survey aims to gain insight and greater understanding of communication patterns and user awareness of social contexts when they write status  updates. The study will act as an attempt to understand a small part of a complex interaction taking place in a social situation.

There are no guidelines regarding how companies should design Status updates on Facebook which attain good readability and engage the readers. Half the Swedish population are Facebook-users, but companies have yet to publish comprehensible messages on Facebook which effectively include the recipients. Inclusion is not just a matter of accessibility, but also of readability.Therefore, I studied how Status updates should be designed on Facebook in order to increase the readability and to engage the readers. My target group is 22-32 year olds, since the company I worked with wanted to target this group. I conducted my research through literature studies, interviews with the client, analysis of past Status updates, questioned an expert in social media, and organized a group interview with the target group.My research shows that Status updates should contain information that is topical, informative and relevant to the target group.

Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie där status på Idrott och Hälsa läraren ligger i fokus. Den utgår från sex stycken utbildade lärares syn på både sin egen status men även sin syn på Idrott och Hälsa läraren i ettstörre perspektiv. För att svara på detta är uppsatsen uppdelad i olika områden där den dels lyfter upp vad status innebär i mer allmän forskning samt en del där fokus är på ämnet samt läraren i Idrott och  Hälsa och dennes status. Dessa två delar, den allmänna samt den mer idrottsinriktade forskningen ställs sedan mot de åsikter och synpunkter som de sex intervjuade lärarna har uttryck i intervjuerna. Det huvudsakliga syftet har varit att utifrån forskning och de sex semi-trukturerade intervjuerna försöka få en bild av hur Idrott och Hälsa lärarens status är i dagens skola och även varför lärarna i fråga tror att den ser ut på det viset.

In Nuclear family as status Dennis Wijk examines if and how the nuclear family ideals and norms permeates family law secretaries work with families. The aim of the study is to investigate if the nuclear family has the status of ideals and norms in the family law secretaries practice. In order to achieve the aim of conducted four interviews with family law secretaries in Stockholm city. The interviews have been the main data collection. Theoretical concepts which are central in the study are: the nuclear family, institution, ideals, standards, and established and outsiders.

In this study, five qualitative interviews were conducted, four of those with pupils and one with a teacher, in grade 9. Humans - a gregarious creature written in the context of status and hierarchy, aims to study how these students in grade 9 are grouped and how you look at each other in and between these groups and also in terms of status between and within the group. Using the concepts of identity, adaption, exclusion and the meaning of emotions with the chosen theoretical concepts by Goffman and, Elias and Scotson the purpose of this study has been answered. The results showed that the students were quite flexible between the groups in their class; most of them were part of a small group that consisted of their ?close? friends.

In today's society the borders between work and leisure blurs out more and more, and just as we might bring our work home, we might as well take our leisure to work with the help of so called smartphones with constant connection to social networks such as facebook and twitter. But what happens when the small talk around the coffee machine in the workplace gets out in public spaces? Instead of complaining to my closest colleague when my boss is acting like a fool or when my workload sky rocketed, I might now instead update my status on facebook with my complaint. But what am I actually allowed to write about my employer? And has the employer any possibility to act legally in respond to what I write?For the younger generation, who more or less is grown up with these social networks, I think this demarcation can be difficult to draw and understand.In this essay I deal with the issue of whether a principle of law, such as the duty of loyalty might collide with my constitutional right to use freedom of speech against my employer..

Status är ett brett begrepp som kan definieras på många olika sätt. Status ställs ofta i samband med yrke och många människor har en uppfattning om vilken status olika yrkesgrupper har. Det finns motsägelsefulla resultat från tidigare studier om hur sjukgymnaster upplever yrkets status. En studie visar på att yrkets status är hög medan Legitimerade Sjukgymnasters Riksförbund menar att den behöver förbättras. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur yrkesverksamma sjukgymnaster i Australien och Sverige upplever sjukgymnastyrkets status samt vad som kan förändras för att påverka yrkets status.

Mitt syfte med detta arbete är att studera hur barn själva ser på fördelningen av roller och status i en grupp. Jag har samtalat med barn om vilka faktorer som har betydelse för att få en hög position i en grupp, samt hur de ser på sin egen roll och status och om barnen har en medvetenhet om roll- och statusfördelning. Jag har försökt att göra en sammanställning av barnens svar och jämföra dessa med litteratur som belyser ämnet. I litteraturen har jag försökt att även ta med aspekter som på skilda sätt belyser konsekvenserna av status och roller. Sammanfattningsvis kan sägas att min undersökning visar att barn som exempelvis är aktiva och bra på sport tilldelas en hög position i kamratgruppen.

Denna litteraturstudie har som syfte att undersöka hur elevers sociala status i skolan påverkar elevernas psykiska hälsa utifrån ett sociokulturellt perspektivt. Litteraturstudien utgår från tidigare utförd empiri som har återfunnits genom sökningar i olika databaser. Genom att använda svenska och engelska sökord har studien funnit relevant nationell och internationell forskning kring elevers sociala status och psykiska hälsa. Studiens resultat påvisar klara samband mellan social status och psykisk hälsa. Resultatet visar även att elever som tillskrivs en låg status i skolan i många fall utvecklar psykisk ohälsa under skoltiden eller senare i livet.

De som förespråkar en ändring av det rådande läget (status quo), inom exempelvis politik, har visat sig vara mer påverkade av naiv realism än de som vill behålla status quo. Ytterligare studier visar att den politiska tillhörigheten kan vara av betydelse för hur påverkade av naiv realism dessa utmanare är. I två studier har det testats om naiv realism påverkas av positionen till status quo (utmana eller försvara) eller av den politiska tillhörigheten. I båda studier har en tydlig favorisering av den egna gruppen påträffats, samt att personer i utmanarposition gentemot status quo gjorde signifikant större skillnad mellan ingrupp och utgrupp än vad försvarare av status quo gjorde. Den politiska tillhörigheten visade sig inte vara av betydelse.

We are working on the development and design of an approach to agents that can reason, react to the environment and are able to update their own knowledge as a result of new incoming information. In the resulting framework, rational, reactive agents can dynamically change their own knowledge bases as well as their own goals. An agent can make observations, learn new facts and new rules from the environment, and then update its knowledge accordingly. The knowledge base of an agent and its updating mechanism has been implemented in Logic Programming. The agent?s framework is implemented in Java.

Purpose ? The purpose of this study is to develop a work method to be used by manufacturing companies that are interested in updating which items that should be presented in the materials exposure. To fulfill the purpose an investigation has been conducted to decide which aspects are important to consider and how the aspects can be used to determine which items that should be presented in the materials exposure. Methodology ? To fulfill the purpose of the study, the method has been based on an abductive approach where theory has been layered with empiricism. The main method within this study has been a case study at Volvo Powertrain AB in Skövde with a materials exposure as the analytical unit.

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate and update load curves for Fortum Distribution AB. Theload curve method is a tool used to forecast the strain of an electric grid. The method is based oncustomer annual energy consumption, outdoors temperature as well as customer category. Theload curve method was established by Svenska Elverksföreningen at the start of the nineties andfocus was put on standardizing annual energyconsumption, in order to make the method usableacross the nation. Present consumption patterns have changed since the original load curves wereproduced, which leads to a need to update the load curves.The work began with an update of present load curves according to recommendation taken fromanother earlier thesis.
